Ah, those goose-stepping teetotalitarians!
Some nice cheesy 80s music for this one I think. Enjoy!
The first one that came to mind is a track that came on earlier this evening whilst I was Lightrooming some photos for eBay. The first time I heard this track was on a compilation that a mate made for me whilst I was doing my gap year in Odessa, Ukraine. That was the hardest year of my life and that mix tape really cheered me up. Awesome track from a great artist, I'm sure you'll agree!
This seems like the obvious choice for me on this one. It's rather a US-centric topic though in a sense, if you don't mind me saying. We don't have a labor day over here, nor do we know what one is (or even a labour day, for that matter).
Nevertheless, we do have to work for a living, which I have to admit is rather a pain, although not as much pain as my missus went through when she was in labo(u)r. And so we go full circle.

This popped up on my iPod during my shopping trip yesterday. I first heard this on the radio and bought the album on the strength of it. Tis very good!

I've listened to this a few times already this week so it sprang right to mind for this week's mp3eme. A beautiful song that only Kate Bush could have got away with!
